Dave Cooper leads the Social Intelligence function at Workday, where he's been since 2018. A 2022 Social Intelligence Lab certification graduate, Dave operates under the mantra: "The data is only as useful as it is impactful," focusing on delivering actionable insights to stakeholders. His unconventional career path, spanning music production for Def Jam to project management (PMP certified) before finding his passion in data analysis and Social Listening, brings a unique perspective to the field. Outside of the data world, his passions include a lifelong love of sports (with a history of D1 water polo at UC Davis), cheering on his beloved Golden State Warriors, playing guitar, creating music for his wife, video games, exploring the culinary scene, and embracing his role as a "funcle."
