Social media and traditional media are now inextricably linked. Recognizing this, some social listening platforms have added traditional media monitoring capabilities to help brands understand the full earned media impact of their activities. And traditional media monitoring firms are dabbling in social listening. At Wells Fargo, we have evaluated some of the latest social listening + media monitoring capabilities in the marketplace and intend to share where we’re seeing value and how this shift is influencing our operating model.
